Sony Xperia Z1 Support
Both options allow you to restore data from Google Drive.I hope that helped. Let me know if you have further questions! No!I think that´s not right. Not every app ist transfered with data. A lot of apps are installed from Playstore without data. So you have to configure them new. The order of and the apps from homescreen are not transferred.Mail accounts don´t work correctly after restore and many more problems. So it takes hours of time to reconfigure the new phone. But in my opinion that´s not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is that if I use google cloud backup, google stores all my credentials in the cloud and i don´t know who has acces to my mail accounts, wifi passwords and so on.So if you think it´s okay that google has access to all data don´t worry. In my opinion it´s a catastophy for SONY to rely only on google services.
No other manufacturer does it like SONY.Kind regards.
